About
Built by people who got the 2am call
CoolTech came out of commercial refrigeration work, not out of a software company looking for a vertical. That is visible in what the product refuses to do as much as in what it does.
Where it came from
Refrigeration control is not new. What kept being missing was the part that tells a human something is wrong in time to matter — and the part that lets them do something about it without driving to the site.
Data loggers produced excellent records of losses nobody could have stopped. Sensor kits paged so often during normal service that staff muted them within a month. Controllers held the settings but had no way to say what they were doing. Every operator we talked to had lived at least one of those three.
CoolTech is the attempt to build the thing that was actually needed: control at the equipment, honest alerting on top of it, and a record that already exists by the time an inspector asks. The console — CoolTech Central — is where all of it lands.
It is built and supported by Cooltech, LLC out of Warrensburg, Missouri, and serves operators across the United States and Canada.

Four rules the product is held to
These are not values on a wall. Each one is visible in a specific behaviour you can go and check.
Publish the real number
Every alert type in the product states its true worst-case detection time on the screen where you configure it. It would be easy to advertise the best case. An operator who learns the hard way that the number was optimistic never trusts the system again.
Never conflate sent with done
A change queued to an offline unit is shown as pending and confirmed when it lands. A notification that was dispatched is recorded with what actually happened to it. Systems that blur those two are the reason people stop believing dashboards.
The connection is not the product
Refrigeration is decided at the equipment. If the internet is the thing keeping your product cold, somebody has built the wrong system. Ours keeps running, and keeps recording, without it.
Silence is a failure state
A unit that stops reporting raises an alarm in its own right, and an alert channel that quietly stopped working is visible rather than indistinguishable from a quiet week. The dangerous failure is always the one that looks like nothing happening.
Talk to us directly
Small company, on purpose. When you call, you get someone who can answer a question about defrost termination without transferring you.
See it running on your own coolers.
A 20-minute walkthrough on your equipment, your locations, your alert rules. No slide deck.
Talk to the people who build it. No call centre, no gatekeeping.
