Cold storage refrigeration control and temperature monitoring

When a room is the asset, an hour matters. CoolTech runs every cold room and freezer, escalates until somebody answers, and keeps the record that settles the claim.

What this actually looks like

One room, an enormous number

A cold room holds more value than most businesses hold in stock. The cost of finding out late is not proportional to the cost of the equipment.

On-call that depends on one phone

If the alert reaches one person and that person is asleep, driving, or has a dead battery, the system did not work.

Claims that turn on evidence

An insurer or a customer asks what the temperature was at 3am on the 14th. 'We think it was fine' is not an answer.

What CoolTech does about it

The part that changes

Not a feature list — the specific things that make the difference for this kind of operation.

  • Escalation until acknowledged

Ordered steps across people and channels. The chain keeps moving until somebody acknowledges in the console — one unanswered phone does not end it.

  • Offline is an alert, not a silence

A unit that stops reporting raises an alarm in its own right. The dangerous failure is the one that looks like nothing happening.

  • Continuous defensible records

Per-unit temperature history over any window, exported to CSV, with a matching audit trail of every configuration change.

  • Predictive hardware warnings

Degrading equipment is flagged before it fails, so a replacement lands on a planned visit rather than during an incident.

Questions from this side of the business

Does CoolTech alert if a cold storage monitor itself goes offline?

Yes, and it is treated as a first-class alert. A unit that stops reporting for longer than a configured window raises an offline alert, because a monitoring system that silently stops looks identical to a facility where nothing is wrong.

Can alerts escalate to multiple people overnight?

Yes. Escalation chains notify people in an order you define, across email and text, with configurable delays between steps. The chain continues until the event is acknowledged in the console, so one unanswered phone does not end the notification.

Can CoolTech provide temperature records for an insurance claim?

Yes. Temperature history is recorded continuously per unit and exports to CSV for any date range, alongside a setpoint audit report showing who changed which setting and when.
