Refrigeration contractors
Fleet control and monitoring for refrigeration service contractors
Your margin is in the trucks you do not send. CoolTech is the controller on your clients' equipment, which is why you can diagnose before dispatching and fix half of it without leaving the shop — and it turns monitoring into a line item that renews.
What this actually looks like
Dispatching blind
A call comes in saying the cooler is warm. You send a technician to find out what, and half the time the answer is a setpoint someone changed.
You find out when the client does
Being reactive is a pricing problem. The contractor who calls the client first is the one who keeps the account.
No recurring line
Service revenue is lumpy and competitive. Monitoring is the part of the relationship a competitor cannot underbid on a single job.
What CoolTech does about it
The part that changes
Not a feature list — the specific things that make the difference for this kind of operation.
Every client, fully separated
One login covers your whole book. Each customer is walled off, and staff can be scoped to only the accounts they actually service.
Diagnose before you dispatch
Connection, sync, equipment health, output states, defrost history and configuration history on one page — before anyone gets in a truck.
Fix the ones that are not a truck roll
Setpoints, defrost timing, alarm limits and fan behaviour change from a browser. The call that used to be a visit becomes five minutes.
Bill it as recurring revenue
Per-customer billable unit counts export straight for invoicing, with demo, internal and warranty units excluded explicitly.
Call them before they call you
The alert reaches you first. Being the one who reports the problem is worth more than any discount you could offer.
Questions from this side of the business
Can a refrigeration contractor manage multiple clients in one CoolTech account?
Yes, and the platform is built for it. Each client is a separate customer with full separation, so a contractor runs their entire book from one login and no client can see another's equipment. Technicians can be scoped to only the customers they service.
Can CoolTech help contractors sell recurring monitoring?
Yes. CoolTech reports per-customer billable unit counts, with explicit exclusions for demo, internal and warranty units, and exports them for invoicing. Contractors typically resell monitoring as a monthly per-unit line alongside their service agreement.
Can a technician change a customer's setpoint remotely?
Yes, subject to their role and permissions. Setpoints, defrost configuration, alarm limits and fan behaviour are all remotely changeable, every change is acknowledged as applied or failed, and every change is recorded against the person who made it.
